About
SUMMARY
Sydney based Product Designer with a passion for driving innovation, user-centred design, and design thinking to create exceptional products. I am a highly motivated and goal-oriented product design professional with a unique multi-disciplinary skill set acquired through years of experience in start-ups, agencies, and product design. I am committed to continuously learning and applying new design and research methods, principles, technologies, and industry trends to deliver exceptional results.
A brief overview of my professional journey... I spent over a decade working as a print-based graphic designer before branching out to enhance my digital expertise in 2008. This led me to embark on a career as a freelancer at M&C Saatchi's digital studio, Mark, and subsequently freelance with several digital agencies such as Amnesia Razorfish, Wunderman Sydney, Frontier Australia, Sound Alliance, MediaMind, and IdeaWorks.
In 2013, I pivoted my career towards experiential brand activation by accepting the position of Creative Director and Studio Manager at Active Edge Promotions. This role allowed me to employ digital solutions that brought brands to life and fostered active participation, while also providing me with the opportunity to lead, manage, and mentor a team of designers, developers, and illustrators.
Afterward, I served as a Senior Digital Design Consultant for COS, a corporate B2B office supplies company in 2016, where I was responsible for revamping their enterprise eCommerce platform and corporate marketing website, thus improving the overall user experience and design aesthetic.
My career shifted to product design in late 2016 when I assumed the lead designer role at two tech startups, Arria and Yabonza, which are involved in creating digital NLG products and national rental property management, respectively, in the proptech sector. These roles honed my skills in UX, UI, and product design and provided me with experience in developing products from the ground up.
In 2020, I joined SiteMinder, a hotel tech company, as a Senior Product Designer, where I gained invaluable experience in payments. Currently, I am working as a Senior Product Designer at Healius, starting in 2022, where I am committed to enhancing the user experience in the pathology sector.
