Yabonza Marketing Website
UX/Visual design and Wordpress development
Yabonza worked with a branding agency to develop their corporate identity and print collateral. The print collateral was very corporate and did not translate well to online, especially when Yabonza pivoted to become more platform user focused.
With Yabonza still in its growth phase, a high converting landing page template and marketing website were essential. The visual design needed to be friendly and welcoming, but also reassuring, and the website needed to integrate with Hubspot’s CRM.
After researching Yabonza’s competitors, analysing a Yabonza customer insights report, and utilising analytics tools like Google Analytics and Hotjar, I worked with the Head of Product and the CMO to design and develop the overall user experience, visual design and online brand for Yabonza.

Designing for a National Audience of Property Investors at Every Level
Yabonza’s marketing strategy and online brand needs to appeal to landlords from all backgrounds, ranging from mum and dad investors, to national corporate investors.
The visual design of the website needs to portray trust worthiness, transparency and scalability, while also keeping personalised touch.
Information Architecture
Yabonza is heavily integrated with Hubspot to manage its customer relations and dynamic content.
This flowchart was created to map out how Hubspot feeds into the website via the blog and education sections, which can be accessed via the header and footer navigation. All contact and download forms feed back into Hubspot as new prospects and get pushed into a sales funnel.

Refreshing the online brand
The original website was designed to attract a corporate investor audience. The design lacked empathy and failed to generate new leads. With Yabonza still in its growth phase, a high converting website was essential.
Together with the Head of Product I embarked on a journey to redesign the website to refresh Yabonza’s online brand image. I researched methods and principles for increasing conversion rates, then set up to wireframe and redesign the key pages for the website.

The Final UI Visual Design

Colour Palette
A colour palette was created to complement the marketing campaigns.
User analysis
Apart from the usual Google Analytics tracking, to gather insights on Yabonza’s users heat mapping was used to analyze our behaviour and then iterations of the website user experience and design were performed to increase engagement and drive conversions.
